Ryota Shigure

Finally! Finished Ryota's rendering. Been in the works for a while but now i'm juggling between the pages and the pin-ups. An original character design by and the colors are done by me.

Hey suzuka! Hope you're not disappointed with how it turned out! Scheme is inspired by RedBull energy drink. It also loss the eyebrows and may be subject to change if suzuka objects. Hair is a small tribute to Hitsugaya although a bit gray.

The swords he uses are short katana's mounted by a dual purpose saya with sheath openings on both sides. He speciallizes in hand-to-hand martail arts though.

Ryota Shigure:
Age: 22
Persona: Cheery guy that is always trying to fool others to get their stuff... I'm not good at describing people...
Story: He was the son of a poor family. His father had died in war/a fight, and he was the only person left to take care of his sick mother. He worked, oh yes he did, but the money he earned wasn't enough, so he also stole undercover. Meanwhile something happened, his mother died, he went to jail but ended up escaping. Now, some years later, he lives as a full time thief, hiding and running away from the cops (because even samurai had some kind of special security force in cities, no?). He might even have a bounty on his head in some places.
As you see it has some gaps. Also, he doesn't seems to have a reason to want the swords... unless the fact that not having money when he was younger traumatized him, turning him into a greedy man. He wants the sword to sell it? xD
